Was "I am the Messanger" banned?

I'm going to have to say yes. Thing is, I searched for when it was banned, but never found that. I'm taking a guess and saying the reason why this book was banned,though, was that it includes a LOT of swearing. Most pages have a cuss word in them. At one point, there is even a woman getting raped! It would be suprising if it wasn't banned at that point. If that wasn't enough, then there is suggestive themes floating around in this book. I can't say exactly why it was banned(Google gave no info on why), but I think these would be good enough guesses.

Being a Austrailian author, he origainally wanted to write about Nazi Germany from hearing stories of it. At age 30, he was known as one of today's most innovative and poetic novelists. He was known as a "literary phenomenon" by Australian and U.S. critics after publishing The Book Thief.
